Formation Evaluation Society of Australia - FESAus  Website link:

FESAus-Queensland (FESQ) local chapter is based in Brisbane, which is part of the national Formation Evaluation Society Australia (FESAus) and global SPWLA.

As always, FESQ is a non-profit organisation dedicated to share formation evaluation best practices through technical events, training and workshop within the oil & gas industry. As the unconventional resources, especially CSG, continues to expand in Queensland, this brings unique challenges to tools measurement, formation evaluation and laboratory core analysis. Our target audience is technical professionals across multi-disciplinary in Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Reservoir engineering, Geomechanics, or anyone who is interested in formation evaluation, rock characterisation, subsurface modelling and production optimisation.
